A few years ago, when we scaled back our professional careers a bit so we could start enjoying all the beauty that life can offer, the plan to explore Spain matured.

Health conditions meant that we just picked this region.

We, a couple in our fifties from West Flanders in Belgium, immediately fell in love with this northern part of the Costa Blanca. We had never been to Spain before, but had been looking for a while for a place where we could enjoy the winter sun. This region has, as far as we are concerned, everything! The sunny climate, the sandy beaches, the rugged coves, the mountains with fantastic hiking trails and cycling routes, the water sports opportunities, the cosy bars and restaurants, the folkloric festivals, too much to mention. It led us to buy our holiday home in 2022 on our first visit.

We value peace and privacy and found our gem on a hill in Calpe. The name for our 'Casa Emrosi' is compiled from the first two letters of our children's first names.

The beautiful views from the house and by the pool, the quiet location without any neighbours' intrusion and the proximity to lively Calpe, the idyllic coves of Benissa, fashionable Moraira, the cosy Vall de Pop-valley completely fulfilled our Sueño español (Spanish dream ;-).

We hope to stay here a few times a year and, in later (retirement) years, maybe also spend a few months in winter.

The free periods, we would like to rent out. We have already obtained our rental licence and the house is ready to receive guests comfortably.

We already have some experience with this, as we have been successfully renting out our holiday home La Floresta in Mouzaive, the Ardennes, Belgium for several years. On Airbnb, we have a superhost status with a rating of 4.8 stars out of 5.

We speak English, French, German and Dutch fluently, and also have notice of Spanish and some Polish language. 

We strive to offer a cosy nest, to continuously improve it and to provide our guests with an optimal combo of tranquillity and comfort. One thing is for sure, you will come back reborn !
